Romeo and Juliet: The story people love to compare their own romances to, conveniently forgetting six people died throughout the play.
The first to go is Mercutio, who dies in Act 3. He is followed shortly by his murderer, Tybalt after Romeo stabs him in revenge. These two deaths were the result of yet another street fight fueled by family drama.
This fight marks the play's descent into tragedy, as Romeo is banished from Verona and the good Friar has to get creative to help the miserable lovers.
Perhaps the ensuing disasters could have been prevented. Romeo made his decisions, but now it's time to change them.
